The Dutch Tour Cycling Federation (NTFU) judged "The best Dutch mountain biking book around". claims "It is guaranteed to make you ride better". And according to FIETS Magazine, Bike Skills is "Very Dutch, with distinct language and excercises".

“Bike Skills – Mountainbike Rijtechnieken van Basics tot Masterclass” is a book on mountain bike skills. Written, produced and successfully marketed, the publication of the book fulfilled a long entertained desire for Ride Projects owner and author of the book, Michel Romen.

188 Pages, divided in 30 chapters and illustrated with over 500 (!) pictures and graphics discuss each and every riding skill for mountain bikers. The book is fully based on personal knowledge and experience. Most images came about in cooperation with photography assistents. From this edition, Ride Projects is the publisher of the book, while sales run mainly through the book’s website
